Learn to love creating clients as much as you love coaching clients.

Great coaches are great leaders.

The key to growing your practice

Great coaches are leaders — leaders in their own life, leaders in growing a successful coaching practice, and they're the kind of leaders their clients want to follow.

We've spent over a decade building a community of extraordinary coaches and throughout that decade, we've helped coaches build incredible skills.

We've helped them learn the "hard parts" of building a successful coaching practice — one conversation at a time.

We've helped them build a business with high-performing, high-fee clients by invitation and referral (not internet marketing).

And we've helped them step fully into their power as leaders.

If you are:

  • A successful leader who has transitioned into coaching (or you want to)...
  • A coach who wants to develop your leadership skills…
  • Or you want to coach powerful leaders...

Welcome. You're in the right place.

Leadership Team - April 2017

Learn to love the "hard" part of running a successful coaching practice.

Only 50% of becoming a successful coach is about the quality of your coaching.

It's the other 50% that will determine if you thrive as a coach.

We call this "Creating Clients."

Others call it "Getting Clients" or even worse, "Attracting Clients." And most coaches call this the "hard" part.

But as long as it remains the "hard" part, you will have a hard time succeeding.

Our motive is to have you LOVE this part of your coaching practice. Our dream is to have you master the art of creating clients. Our dream is to make the "hard" part easy.

Imagine two boxes. The box on the left is what you do. The box on the right is the business of what you do. The business of what you do includes sales and accounting and making proposals and bookkeeping and paying taxes.

Most coaches put all their attention on the box on the left. They do more and more coach training. They invest more and more money in becoming a better and better coach. They love  this box and spend money, time and energy over here.

But they detest the box on the right. They hate the business of coaching. To them, it means selling and asking for money.

You don't need to be an internet marketing expert to create a successful coaching practice.

I enroll my clients by coaching them.

The more these two boxes overlap, the more fun you have and the more you thrive as a coach.

I enroll my clients by coaching them. It really is as simple as that.

In fact, my calendar now has only two colors: red and blue. Blue signifies any time I am coaching a client. Red signifies any time I am creating a client.

If you were to observe me on a coaching day you would be hard-pressed to know whether I was speaking to a current client or creating a new one. I have made the two boxes overlap.

To create a thriving practice with just a few high-performing, high-paying clients you don't need lots of marketing and social media posting. All you need is your coaching skills.

The moment I began to slow down my initial conversations with potential clients, my life changed. I didn’t realize it at the time but I was learning to love the business of coaching.

Now, I’ll never meet with a potential 1-on-1 client for less than two hours. And all I ever do to “sell” is to create a powerful coaching experience. So for me there’s no more selling, there’s just coaching, which I love. There is no “hard” part.

Through the Prosperous Coach Approach, you'll learn the art of SELLING THE INVISIBLE.

You can't take a client any deeper than you've gone yourself.

Get Ready to Feel Uncomfortable.

Much of the design of this event will be based on your questions, your case studies, and on your actual clients (or potential clients).

We’ll coach many of you live, either in front of the room or in your small groups.

We make a commitment to serve you, not to please you.

We promise to hold nothing back.

We're not here to be your friend.

We're here to help you succeed as a coach.

And I believe that you can't take a client any deeper than you've gone yourself.

Which is why we create space at our Intensives to give you an opportunity to work your own process. To do the Deep Inner Work necessary to see your blind spots and continue on your path of personal and professional development.

Rich Litvin teaching about exponential success. The tiniest shifts can change everything.

The tiniest shift can change everything.

Most people dream just 10% bigger than where they are now. Yet, 10% bigger thinking isn't exciting. It's about taking the obvious path that everyone else is on. It doesn’t engage you intellectually or emotionally. It won't have people do whatever it takes to support you in your mission. It won't energize you. In fact, it will often drain you of energy.

A 10x mindset requires a whole new mentality. It radically shifts your thinking, your decision-making, the connections you make and the actions you take. 10x thinking addresses a huge problem, proposes a radical solution or engages breakthrough creativity. It has an immediate impact on you internally by engaging you viscerally. It's like walking a fine line between feeling afraid and feeling energized. You wake up with your heart racing at the thought of being alive.

That's why one of the key themes of our Intensives is CREATING THE IMPOSSIBLE.

We love supporting you in dreaming bigger than you've ever dreamed and taking tinier steps than you've ever taken.

Take Action. Create Clients.

Our most powerful life experiences take place in the context of immersion. That’s because all three of our primary forms of learning — thinking, feeling and doing (mind, heart and body) — and all three sources of information — ourselves, others and our environment — are involved.

But this intensive isn’t about “information.” It’s a learning experience focused on taking action.

We’ll spend our time dealing with real issues: your issues. So, be prepared to bring your client challenges into the room. Think of real people you’d love to work with and bring their names into the room. And, most importantly, bring your fears into the room. We’ll handle all of it.

When we say we want you to actually create clients, we mean it. At every intensive we’ve run, participants have signed new clients or re-signed previous clients before the event was even over.

Hear participants describe their experience at a Rich Litvin Intensive.

You're not alone.

The community of coaches who join us at our intensives are simply extraordinary.

We hear countless stories of people who have met their new best friend or their new business partner at an Intensive.

The comment we hear most is "WHOA! I am blown away by how generous this community is!"

And the support of this community doesn't end after the four-day event. You'll join us for a "90 Day Money Game" where you can practice everything you learned alongside your peers.

We hope you'll be part of our community for life. That your relationships and your business will prosper based on the extraordinary people you meet at an Intensive.

Get a sneak peek of the Intensive experience:

The 90 Day Money Game (Value $497)

This is my absolute #1 tool for creating clients... and cash… in a short period of time. Not only will we spend four days together at the intensive, you’ll be supported in APPLYING your insights afterward. For the first time ever, you'll receive 90 days of support after the intensive as you apply your insights and play our signature program, The 90 Day Money Game, with your peers.

The success stories from The 90 Day Money game alone have been extraordinary. I’ve seen coaches easily 10x their investment. The first time I played this game, I was very new to coaching. I picked what felt like an outrageous number. And then I made $20K in about 40 days. It blew my mind.

The first time Christina played, she set an “outrageous” goal of $40k. “It seemed crazy,” she said. And then she hit $40k in just 67 days. I could go on and on about these success stories.

“The Fearless Coaching Intensive” Audio Recording (Value $997)

You’ll get to be a fly on the wall for a full intensive before you even arrive. You’ll gain valuable insights and will be well prepared to play full out for your intensive experience. A member of my team said when she was listening to an intensive audio recording while driving, an insight was so huge she had to pull over. Maybe I need to add a disclaimer to these: “Do not operate heavy machinery while listening to this audio program.”

Your clients are far more powerful than they know. (And so are you.)

Always remember that the client in front of you is far more more powerful than they know. They are far closer to what they desire than they could ever imagine. We call this SERVING THE INCREDIBLE.

Daniel Coyle, author of The Talent Code, wrote:

“There’s a type of great coach… A mysterious type who often go overlooked, because what they do doesn’t look like coaching. It looks more like magic. Because these people have the ability to alter someone’s destiny in the time it takes to eat lunch. They aren’t about the how or the why — they’re completely, utterly about the who. Their core skill is to see someone in a way that they don’t yet see themselves; to give their lives a larger narrative, sense of belief, a higher purpose.”

That’s what WE do.

And that’s what YOU will be doing when you join us at a Rich Litvin Intensive.

Real People. Real Stories.

"This intensive has transformed the way I run my coaching practice."

“I feel much more relaxed around money. I no longer have the need to constantly prove myself worthy. And I know that I can create clients from a place of love and service instead of from a place of neediness.

If you want to work with only a few high-achieving clients per year, and if you hate traditional marketing and sales, do yourself and your future clients a favor and go to this intensive.”

— Brian Yining Wu

"I see that there is no ‘one’ path — only my path."

“Everyone in the room was in the same place. Some were more engaged and others still figuring it out. But no one was an expert. Each person was looking to better their services and follow their path. And I see that there is no ‘one’ path — only my path. While there are tools and many options I just have to find out what works for me. It was a life changing intensive and I truly enjoyed Rich’s willingness to give and give more to ensure we had an overflowing cup.”

—Cindy Levorah

"If you are committed to turning pro as a coach, this is the place to do it."

“This Intensive is for coaches who are ready to go big and take their coaching and their business up three levels. It is not for the feint of heart. This was the most powerful professional development experience I’ve had and has challenged me to play a much bigger game with my clients and my prospects. If you are committed to turning pro as a coach, this is the place to do it.

My confidence has soared as a result of this intensive…I’ve only been back one day and I’ve already had transformational experiences with several clients!”

—Brad Billingsley

"I’ve stopped thinking I need to create the perfect system or website."

“This intensive dives deep into what it means to be a coach, rather than how to be a coach. You get the opportunity to be amongst coaches of all levels who demonstrate their value of coaching by opening up and being coached by Rich in front of the group. There really isn’t any advice or information given without a discussion or demonstration of its practical application. I’ve stopped thinking I need to create the perfect system or website or really that I even need to have some official qualification to start serving as a coach.”

Our Policies

  • Cancellation Policy

We are interested in coaches who want to play full out. If you’re in, you’re in. It’s called Commitment. “Hell Yes. Or Hell No”. There is nothing else. If it turns out that you can’t attend the Intensive in person, we will send you the full audio recording of the event – or your fee can be used as a full credit toward any Intensive provided in the next 12 months.

  • The "Power of Vulnerability" Policy

Show up to the Intensive ready to hide nothing—and hold nothing back. You will triple the value you get by playing this way. As Brené Brown puts it, “Vulnerability is our most accurate measure of courage.” She says, if you take a big step and make yourself vulnerable, then it is pretty likely that the next morning you’ll wake up thinking, “Oh my God! Why did I share that? What was I thinking?”

What we say is that if you don’t feel a vulnerability hangover the next morning, then you probably didn’t go far enough.  Our Intensives are always recorded, so just like life, you get to choose how far you go in sharing with others—privately or in front of the whole room.

  • The "200% Responsibility" Policy

Great coaching relationships involve 200% Responsibility. And 200% Responsibility is how we run our Intensives. On our side, we PROMISE you, that we will show up 100%. (That’s me, Rich—and my entire team.) We will hide nothing. We will hold nothing back. We will give you the most powerful, impactful, kick-ass, life changing Intensive that you have ever experienced.

On YOUR side, we REQUIRE of you to show up 100%. Hide nothing. Hold nothing back. Take action. Even when you’re afraid. Be vulnerable. Lean into your edge. Take risks. Mess up, screw up, FAIL! Again and again and again. Because more failure is the only guaranteed path to more success.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • q-iconIs the Intensive recorded?

Yes. All our intensives are recorded. You get to choose how far you go in sharing with others—privately or in front of the whole room.

  • q-iconI'm a new coach — is this for me?

Whether you’re new to coaching or have been coaching for years, you’ll discover plenty of opportunities to learn and grow at a Rich Litvin Intensive.

  • q-iconWhat if I have other questions?

Please email us at hello@richlitvin.com and we’ll be happy to answer any additional questions you have.

  • q-iconWhat if I need to arrive late / leave early / can't attend the full Intensive?

We strongly recommend blocking out your calendar so you can make the most of your Intensive experience. Depending on the activity happening in the room at the time, if you arrive late, we may ask you to hold off on entering so as not to disturb the group.

  • q-iconWill I be able to connect with other attendees prior to the event?

Yes. You will have access to a private Facebook group just for the members of your Intensive.

  • q-iconIs there a more detailed agenda?

There is not — because the agenda for the event is truly shaped by you. For example, if Rich is coaching someone on stage, he will coach until the client is complete, which could mean that we finish slightly “early” or “late.” You can expect a morning break, a lunch break of approximately 90-minutes, and an afternoon break. On days with evening activities, there is also a dinner break.
