I hope this article finds you well because the past couple of years have been challenging for many coaches.Â
I know coaches with multi-million dollar businesses, as well as people completely new to coaching, and many have noticed a slowdown in people ready to invest in coaching.Â
The lingering effects of the pandemic, combined with the current global uncertainty have likely contributed to this situation.
However, I want to share some advice that has helped many coaches in similar situations create more clients and grow their businesses:
- Get back to basics: Connect, connect, connect! Every morning, ask yourself, “Who would I love to speak to?” Pause any activities that distract you from directly connecting with people, such as excessive social media and marketing. Focus on serving your audience.
- Track your progress: Use The Prosperous Coach Framework (connect, invite, create, propose) to track your activities. Monitor how much money you make in proposals and how many NOs you receive. By the way, The Prosperous Coach is currently 49% off on Amazon and the audiobook is $14.99 on Apple Books – that’s a great return on investment in your next client!
- Get creative: Make bigger and smaller proposals than ever before. Constantly develop new, interesting, and provocative ideas to stimulate your clients’ thinking. Remember, your best prospects are often those who have already paid you. How can you astonish them today?
- Ask for referrals: Regularly request referrals from your best clients to expand your reach and attract new prospects.
Remember, in uncertain times, the solution is not certainty but creativity. When everyone else goes high-tech, you stand out by going high-touch.
I believe in you. You’ve got this!
That’s me teaching my boys alternative ways to make money!Â
