Project Kairos

Join me for eight months of coaching to master creating clients by invitation and referral only.

3 Confidences of World-Class Coaches

There are three types of confidence that help coaches become truly successful.

1. Self Confidence

Imagine dramatically increasing your professional self-esteem so you stand out as a preeminent coach, sought out by great clients…

2. Confidence to Enroll Clients

Imagine massively increasing your skills to enroll high-performing, high-fee clients…

3. Confidence to Coach Clients

Imagine greatly increasing your ability to coach clients who are more successful, intelligent and wealthy then you…

This triple lack of confidence holds coaches back from working with world-class clients. It holds them back from growing a business by invitation and referral only. It holds them back from massively increasing their income – and more importantly, their profit.

This Fall I’m launching the 8th and final cohort of Project Kairos

Join me for 8 months of support on building your professional confidence – and competence – from the inside out. You’ll learn world-class skills for coaching highly successful clients to get to their next level of success.

Why me? Why you?

For a decade and a half, I have helped coaches and consultants build a word of mouth business – by invitation and referral only.

I’ve trained thousands of coaches in The Prosperous Coach Approach, to enroll clients – one powerful conversation at a time.

I co-wrote the book, The Prosperous Coach, that has sold almost 100,000 copies, with zero marketing.

I’ve helped launch many of the world’s most successful, exclusive and oversubcribed coaches.

And I walk my talk by practicing this approach to this day, to enroll clients who invest $185,000 to work with me.

The transformational story of Helen

When I first met Helen, she was recovering from the burnout and frustration of a couple of decades of corporate life. She was the former Vice President of a $1B healthcare company who had become a professional coach because she dreamed of making a real impact on people’s lives.

But she was exhausted.

You see, she had all the skills needed to be a successful coach but she was struggling to get clients. She’d tried all the online marketing ideas that screamed at her from every Facebook ad. But they drained her of energy. Because they never seemed to work – despite all the promises.

Life was really lonely. She’d be at home, with tears running down her face – still in her pajamas at noon – wondering where on earth her next client would come from. And there was no one she could speak to. She had never met a successful coach (every coaching event she attended seemed to be full of struggling coaches, who’d never earned what she’d earned at the height of her career). And how could she talk to her old friends? After all, they were jealous she’d escaped the corporate world; they were busy with work; and the only response she’d likely hear was, “I wish I had your problems…”

I love working with coaches who have a track record of success behind them in another career. And I know I will have to begin by messing with their thinking!

I quickly help them see that they are not a ‘new’ coach. In fact, they have years of learnings and insights behind them. They’ve often built decades of career capital and sweat equity from a previous career. And that shouldn’t be dismissed.

I often remind them of a short story about Picasso…

Pablo Picasso was sketching in the park when a woman approached him.

It’s you, Picasso, the great artist! Oh, you must sketch my portrait! I insist.

You see, she had all the skills needed to be a successful coach but she was struggling to get clients. She’d tried all the online marketing ideas that screamed at her from every Facebook ad. But they drained her of energy. Because they never seemed to work – despite all the promises.

So Picasso agreed to sketch her. After studying her for a moment, he used a single pencil stroke to create her portrait. He handed the women his work of art.

It’s perfect!” she gushed. “You managed to capture my essence with one stroke, in one moment. Thank you! How much do I owe you?

Five thousand dollars,” the artist replied.

But, what?” the woman sputtered. “How could you want so much money for this picture? It only took you a second to draw it!

To which Picasso responded, “Madame, it took me my entire life.

Helen became one of my clients and joined my community. She began to reclaim the power, audacity and confidence that she’d had most of her life. And within two years, she was making $500K a year as a coach. She’s teaching women the skills they need to navigate corporate life with power and grace, in companies that include American Express, GlaxoSmithKline and Johnson & Johnson. And her first book, The Unwritten Rules of Women’s Leadership, has just been published.”

You’re not alone…

I’ve worked with scores of executives over the past few years who have become highly successful coaches, with highly successful clients. More importantly, they thrive as professionals, in a world where most coaches treat coaching like a hobby and never escape from struggle-mode…

We’ve become the world’s premier company at helping extraordinary leaders become extraordinary professional coaches.

We have a track record in supporting coaches to build a thriving practice with a few high-performing, high fee clients – one powerful conversation at a time. For the past 11 years, I’ve run a program that helped launch many of the world’s most successful and exclusive coaches.

Meet some of the high level leaders and former executives who are thriving as part of our community:

Before joining Project Kairos, creating clients felt like I was banging on all doors and wondering why people did not “see” me. I was afraid that I was not good enough to be around the world’s best coaches, yet I wanted to work with international leaders.

I learned to serve people powerfully, one conversation at a time. I learned to slow down to create the space for miracles to happen. And every time I serve others, I see myself growing into my true-self.

Thank you from my heart, Rich.”

Helena Abidin

Personal Branding Strategist in Jakarta, Indonesia

I had read the Prosperous Coach and was actively applying what I learned. So creating clients had become relatively easy, even before I joined Project Kairos. I didn’t hesitate at the chance to join. When I saw the price, it was a no-brainer.

I increased my coaching rates. I connected with amazing coaches who have become great friends. We even have a mastermind group as a result. And I was challenged to get serious about taking my coaching business to the next level. I now treat it like a real business.”

Leslie Samuel

Entrepreneurial Coach

“I had no paying clients when I joined Project Kairos. I was mainly reaching out to friends, or coaching pro bono. I had a lot of resistance to accepting that someone could pay for my service. I was scared to make proposals.

When I first learned about Project Kairos, I did not hesitate. I recall sitting in the kitchen on a sunny evening in June 2020, reading one of Rich’s inspiring articles. I read the description of the program and every single word resonated with me. I slept on it and pressed the pay button first thing the next morning.

I joined Project Kairos with the intention to build a prosperous business while not compromising on the lifestyle I want to create for myself and my loved ones. I started with no paying clients, no structure on how to approach potential clients, and with a lot of doubts and fears.

Project Kairos brought me A community of like-minded high performers who are owning who they are and are not afraid to speak their truth. They lifted me up, collectively and individually.

I discovered and experienced a playful approach for creating clients. I am deeply committed to my work and learnt this precious skill of not being attached to the outcome. I have signed inspiring clients, who respect my values and my value.

I now know that if it seems “impossible” I am on the right path. I keep moving. One step at a time. One step every day.

Thank you Rich!”

Delphine Przenioslo

Coach and former Supply Chain Director at Procter & Gamble for 20 years

“Thank you, Rich for the Project Kairos journey—of learning, community, love, courage, and holding the space of possibility for us.

As a therapist for nearly 30 years, I already knew I was serving people daily, many times helping to save them from suicide or chronic suicidal thoughts. Although I had very good boundaries, making sure I was present for my family and not burning out like many therapists do, I was still tired from the work, such that I didn’t expand into volunteer work or other possibilities.

Then the convergence of midlife, wanting something more, and this period in history when women are leaping into new possibilities for advancement brought me further into the coaching world. I looked at your website many times and thought, well I’m not a high level leader…

The virtual intensive made it an easier decision though, and during it, I saw that I COULD see myself as a leader.

You made an impact on me, helping to open my mind to think bigger, to feel that I do have even more to contribute, and to believe that people need what I have to offer. For that, I’ll be eternally grateful.”

Ellie Lane

Coach for high performing, driven, women entrepreneurs

“I had only one paying client before Project Kairos and I did not quite have the language or a methodology to follow. My efforts were sporadic, although I had a lot of passion for coaching. And before I signed up, the program felt beyond my means—but I would not back off.

Rich is a ‘Stradivarius’ in his field and I got to experience him as a person, as a professional coach and as someone who has explored his inner depths. It was a privilege to witness the pure commitment and dedication to his craft, seeing Rich in action.”

Puneet Sachdev

Executive Coach for Founders at the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center

“Before Project Kairos, I had no confidence that I was doing it ‘right’ and I wasn’t consistent enough. I also didn’t appreciate the lag time between the first connection and actually enrolling a client. Now that I do, there’s a whole lot less disappointment and frustration and a lot more flow. The cost was significant for me – it had been a long time since I invested that much in myself. And the timing was hard to wrap my head around because I had lost my husband just a few months before enrolling. I didn’t know how much time and energy I’d be able to invest while I was actively grieving.

Getting a front row seat as Rich coached us was great, and of course we were all being coached when anyone was coached.

The community was fantastic. Connecting through phone calls or on zoom was a great way to find out what everyone was up to in their business. Being on the journey together with other high caliber coaches was affirming and more fun than working in isolation … especially during COVID and grief.

My confidence grew leaps and bounds. I doubled my rates. I work only 3-4 days a week. I started my research project and have had incredibly insightful conversations that have shaped my offerings. As I’ve focused on “who I’m being” I am walking the talk in more areas of my life, consistently. I have a firmly established exercise habit since last May, I’ve lost 27 pounds since September, I’m writing more consistently, speaking my mind unapologetically and being of service more intentionally. I had my first 5 figure month in November and two 5 figure months since then. In January, I landed my first corporate gig with a Team Development workshop for a legal team at a large consulting company. I’ve been invited to do a similar program for another team in the company next month. I’m confident that I’ll continue to expand as I continue to implement all I’ve learned in the coming months! This was the best investment I’ve made in myself and my business in a very long time! THANK YOU!”

Crista Mathew

Leadership Development Coach

Meet Emily – one of the very first members of Project Kairos…

Emily is the former Director of Talent Acquisition for a $3B corporation. She had a track record of recruiting hundreds of people in a critical, high stakes environment and she was almost 20 years in the corporate world – yet she still carried a deep fear that she’s an imposter: “I’m afraid I’ll be found out…”

Emily is now a professional coach. She’s a powerful woman. But before our conversation, she hadn’t quite seen just how powerful she is. She hadn’t seen that some of her gifts as a coach stretch far back in time. And she hadn’t realized just how clearly she understands the deep secrets of her dream clients.

Imagine knowing the mindsets of your dream clients…
When you understand this, clients will be knocking at your door to work with you because you truly get them.

Imagine seeing your own power…
For most people their superpower is too close to them to see it clearly. When you articulate this, it’s like a magnet for your dream clients.

Imagine speaking truth so powerfully that people trust you before they even meet you…
When you do this, you can build an incredible community.
